What is iHealth?
St. Vincent Physician Network is proud to offer our patients iHealth online services. The iHealthRecord is a secure and confidential online personal health record. This service not only stores personal health information for you and your family, it provides FDA product warnings and alerts and interactive programs that help you better understand medical conditions and medications--all at no cost to you! You can create an iHealthRecord to manage and share your personal health information with your physician, family members, a caregiver, or in the event of an emergency. Once you register for iHealth, you will also find online forms available to help you prepare for your upcoming visit with your physician. This is an elective program - as a patient of St. Vincent Physician Network you are not required to register with iHealth. The medical information you include in your iHealth record cannot be accessed by anyone without your permission. Creating an iHealthRecord also allows you to use Secure Messaging (secure email). Secure Messaging allows you to contact our physician offices without having to pick up the phone or make an in-person visit to the office. Once approved for privileges from your practice, you may be able to . . . *make or reschedule an appointment; *request a prescription refill (please keep in mind that for fastest service, you should contact your pharmacy directly for refills); *find out if your lab results have arrived; *clarify queries about your medical bill or other general administrative questions *ask follow up questions from your last appointment ...all from the convenience of your computer, and without the inconvenience of being placed on hold or playing "phone tag."
